Wicked: For Good is the second installment of the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on November 21, 2025. Directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Universal Pictures, the film continues the story of Elphaba Thropp—destined to become the Wicked Witch of the West—and her complex relationship with Glinda Upland, the future Good Witch of the North.

As Elphaba rises in defiance against the Wizard's authoritarian rule over Oz, she is forced to confront her identity as the so-called "Wicked Witch." At the same time, the Wizard elevates Glinda to the role of "Glinda the Good," positioning her as a national symbol of hope against Elphaba. In this climactic musical chapter, both women must face choices that will define their legacies.
