When the enigmatic deep space research ship USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, “Wendy” (Sydney Chandler) and a diverse squad of tactical soldiers make a critical discovery that brings them face-to-face with the planet’s most formidable threat in FX’s “Alien: Earth.”
Set in the year 2120, Earth is ruled by five powerful corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold.
In this Corporate Era, cyborgs—beings with both biological and artificial components—and synthetics—humanoid robots powered by artificial intelligence—coexist with humans.
Everything changes when the prodigious Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unveils a groundbreaking innovation: hybrids—humanoid robots embedded with human consciousness. The first hybrid prototype, named “Wendy,” signals a new era in humanity’s quest for immortality. Following a collision between Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship and Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids confront mysterious, terrifying life forms beyond anyone’s imagination.
Led by Chandler, the series showcases an expansive international cast, which includes Timothy Olyphant (“Kirsh”), Alex Lawther (“Hermit”), Samuel Blenkin (“Boy Kavalier”), Babou Ceesay (“Morrow”), Adrian Edmondson (“Atom Eins”), David Rysdahl (“Arthur Sylvia”), Essie Davis (“Dame Sylvia”), Lily Newmark (“Nibs”), Erana James (“Curly”), Adarsh Gourav (“Slightly”), Jonathan Ajayi (“Smee”), Kit Young (“Tootles”), Diêm Camille (“Siberian”), Moe Bar-El (“Rashidi”) and Sandra Yi Sencindiver (“Yutani”).
