What have Oasis said about the fan who died at their concert?

Oasis have spoken out after fan fell to his death at Wembley.

Oasis have told fans they are “shocked and saddened” following the shock death of a fan at their Wembley Stadium gig last week.

In a statement, the band said:

“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”

A man in his 40s tragically died after falling from the upper tier of Wembley Stadium during an Oasis reunion concert on Saturday night. Metropolitan Police officers, stadium medics, and London Ambulance Service personnel responded to reports of an injured person at around 10:19 pm, finding the man with injuries “consistent with a fall”. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

One fan said she thought she had seen a coat fall from the highest stand in the stadium.

“It was horrific to see” she said.

Oasis resume their tour at the end of September.
