The Miniature Wife will launch on Sky and streaming service NOW from 9 April in the UK, and on Peacock in the US.
All episodes of Sky Exclusive comedy-drama The Miniature Wife, starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen, will launch on Sky and streaming service NOW from 9 April across the UK and Ireland. In the US, fans can stream it on Peacock.
Inspired by the short story by Manuel Gonzales, the series explores the shifting power dynamics between married couple Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) and Les (Matthew Macfadyen) after a technological mishap triggers an extraordinary relationship crisis.
Emmy nominee Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games) and BAFTA winner Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Deadpool & Wolverine) lead the cast, joined by series regulars Zoe Lister-Jones (Slip, Beau is Afraid), O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent), Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island), and Sofia Rosinsky (Paper Girls, Death and Other Details). Recurring cast members include Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show, Crazy Rich Asians), Aasif Mandvi (Evil, The Daily Show), Rong Fu (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Hello (Again)), and Tricia Black (Small Achievable Goals, Pretty Hard Cases).
The series has been created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire, Goliath), who also act as showrunners and executive producers. Banks and Macfadyen additionally executive produce.
Greg Mottola (Superbad, The Daytrippers) directs episodes one, two, seven and eight, and also serves as executive producer. Additional executive producers include Michael Aguilar (I’m Dying Up Here, Kidding), Suzanne Heathcote (The Crowded Room, Killing Eve), Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer for Media Res (The Morning Show, Pachinko).
The Miniature Wife is produced by Media Res Studio and distributed internationally by Sony Pictures Television.
