Greggs reveals 2026 autumn menu – and the iconic pastry making a comeback
Greggs has officially confirmed when its 2026 autumn menu will launch – and there’s a familiar favourite returning alongside the arrival of pumpkin spice season.
The high-street bakery has announced that its new autumn range will hit 200 shops across the North East and beyond from September 3, putting an end to weeks of speculation from fans eager to know when the seasonal favourites would return.
And there’s one comeback in particular that is likely to get Greggs regulars talking: the Steak & Stilton Bake is back.
Founded in Newcastle in 1939, Greggs is marking the change of season with 11 new and returning products, ranging from hearty savoury bakes to autumn-inspired sweet treats and a whole host of iced drinks.
The range will be available at participating Greggs shops, with customers also able to order through the Greggs app using Click & Collect.
The Steak & Stilton Bake is back
Priced from £2.50, the returning Steak & Stilton Bake combines diced beef in rich gravy with blue Stilton cheese and grilled onions, all wrapped in glazed puff pastry.
It is finished with a black pepper crumb and comes in at 465 calories.
For anyone who considers a Greggs pastry an essential part of an autumn lunch, this is arguably the headline return.
Pumpkin spice season arrives at Greggs
Of course, it wouldn’t be an autumn menu without pumpkin spice.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte returns at Greggs from £2.85, made with Fairtrade coffee, semi-skimmed milk and pumpkin spice syrup, topped with cream and a salted caramel drizzle.
There’s also an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, priced from £3.35, for anyone who isn’t quite ready to give up iced coffee when September arrives.
And pumpkin spice isn’t stopping at the drinks menu. Greggs is also introducing a Pumpkin Spice Doughnut, priced from £1.50. The doughnut has a spiced pumpkin filling and is finished with icing and sugar pearls.
More new savoury options
Greggs is also adding a trio of indulgent savoury options to the autumn line-up.
The Buffalo Chicken Baguette, from £4.10, features buffalo-style chicken mayonnaise, mature Cheddar and red onion in a freshly baked baguette.
There’s also a Buffalo Pizza Slice, from £2.70, combining a focaccia-style pizza base with cheese and sauce, buffalo chicken mayo and red onion.
For something even more substantial, the Chicken & Pepperoni Toastie costs from £3.80. It combines chicken in a pizza-style sauce with Cheddar and pepperoni between slices of sourdough-style white bread, topped with béchamel and mixed cheese.
New iced drinks for the changing season
Greggs is expanding its cold drinks selection too, with several options aimed at customers who aren’t ready to swap iced drinks for hot coffees just yet.
The Iced Caramel Chocolate costs from £3.45 and combines Fairtrade cocoa with semi-skimmed milk, ice and salted caramel drizzle.
There’s also an Iced Mocha, from £2.85, made with Fairtrade coffee, cocoa and semi-skimmed milk.
The Iced Chocolate, also from £2.85, is a simpler combination of Fairtrade cocoa and semi-skimmed milk served over ice.
And there’s a Bonfire Night-inspired treat
Rounding out the 11-product launch is the Bonfire Toffee Muffin, priced from £1.65.
The muffin has a toffee flavour, with toffee pieces and a burnt toffee filling, before being finished with chocolate and salted caramel icing.
At 363 calories, it looks set to be another seasonal sweet treat designed to bridge the gap between autumn and Bonfire Night.
When does Greggs’ autumn menu launch?
The new Greggs autumn range launches on September 3, 2026, at 200 participating shops across the North East and beyond.
Customers will also be able to order the new and returning products through the Greggs app via Click & Collect.
So whether you’re waiting for the return of the Steak & Stilton Bake, counting down to pumpkin spice season or simply looking for an excuse to try something new, Greggs’ autumn menu is officially just around the corner.
