The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner confirmed for Strictly
BBC has revealed that entrepreneur and television personality Thomas Skinner will be doing this year's Strictly.
BBC has revealed that entrepreneur and television personality Thomas Skinner will be waltzing into the glittering world of Strictly Come Dancing this autumn, becoming the tenth celebrity to join the 2025 line-up.
The Romford-born businessman, best known for his memorable stint on The Apprentice in 2019, admitted that ballroom dancing will be a whole new challenge.
“I’m beyond excited to be joining Strictly Come Dancing. I’ve tackled the boardroom and some big breakfasts in my time, but stepping onto the dance floor under that glitter ball is next-level stuff! I’ve never danced in my life (other than at weddings), but I’m ready to graft and, of course, have a laugh. Bring on the sequins, sambas, and most importantly, the BOSH to the ballroom!”
Since his Apprentice debut, Skinner has become a familiar face on British television, appearing on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Wheel, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Good Morning Britain, and Celebrity MasterChef—the latter earning him meme-worthy fame. Away from the cameras, he’s built a thriving portfolio of businesses, from mattress sales to a gym, while keeping fans entertained with his larger-than-life motivational videos and unconventional breakfast choices.
In 2023, Skinner published his debut book Graft – How to Smash Life, sharing his no-nonsense approach to hard work. He’s also a regular voice on TalkSport Radio and co-presented their 2024 men’s mental health podcast The Men’s Room alongside Neil “Razor” Ruddock.
Skinner first teased his Strictly involvement on social media with a video filmed in his favourite café, before confirming the news live on Hits Radio with Sam Thompson. The remaining celebrities joining this year’s series will be announced soon.
Produced by BBC Studios, Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this September. Expect dazzling routines, fierce competition, and a fresh dose of Skinner’s trademark BOSH energy on the dance floor.
