Sky releases official teaser for Sky 'IT: Welcome to Derry'

Sky and HBO MAX have unveiled the official teaser for IT: Welcome to Derry, set to premiere this autumn exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW. The new drama series, a Sky Exclusive in the UK, is rooted in Stephen King’s iconic IT universe and serves as a prequel, expanding on the world established by director Andy Muschietti in the hit films IT and IT Chapter Two.

The series stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård.

Developed for television by Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti (IT, IT Chapter Two, The Flash) alongside Jason Fuchs (IT Chapter Two, Wonder Woman, Argylle), the series will see Andy Muschietti directing multiple episodes.

Executive producers include Andy and Barbara Muschietti through their Double Dream banner, Jason Fuchs, Brad Caleb Kane, David Coatsworth, Bill Skarsgård, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin. The first episode was written by Fuchs, who also serves as co-showrunner with Kane. The series is based on Stephen King's bestselling novel IT.

The series will stream on HBO MAX in the U.S.
