Sky today drops the explosive full trailer for its upcoming action-adventure series, Atomic, starring Alfie Allen
Sky has dropped the adrenaline-charged trailer for its upcoming action-adventure drama Atomic, a five-part series promising high stakes, fast-paced twists, and unexpected alliances.
Fronted by Alfie Allen (SAS: Rogue Heroes, Game of Thrones), Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery, What’s Love Got To Do With It), and Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale, Orange Is the New Black), Atomic throws viewers into a globe-spanning pursuit that blends espionage, danger, and reluctant camaraderie.
At the heart of the story is Max (Allen), a freewheeling drug smuggler whose path collides with JJ (Latif), a mysterious drifter with secrets of his own. What begins as a chance encounter spirals into a frantic mission neither man expected: transporting highly enriched uranium across North Africa and the Middle East, with the CIA, MI6, and a shadow network of international players in hot pursuit.
On their trail is Cassie Elliott (Wiley), a brilliant scientist operating under Non-Official Cover for the CIA. Convinced the pair are linked to violent extremists, Cassie’s relentless hunt draws all three into a dangerous web where loyalties are blurred and motives are never as they seem. Along the way, Max and JJ must contend with covert agents, a well-funded criminal cartel, and ghosts from their own pasts—forcing them into a tense partnership that may offer more than just survival.
Packed with tense standoffs, exotic locales, and breakneck pacing, Atomic promises a mix of action, intrigue, and human drama. The series premieres Thursday 28 August on Sky and streaming platform NOW.
