SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters Reaches Thrilling Finale Tonight on ITV1 and ITVX
The final of SHARK: Celebrity Infested Waters is on ITV1 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
Tonight at 9 p.m., ITV1 and ITVX plunge viewers into the adrenaline-fueled climax of SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters. After weeks of intense, fast-track dive training, the celebrity team faces their ultimate challenge—diving alongside 18-foot tiger sharks at the legendary Tiger Beach in the Bahamas.
Before they reach this iconic dive site, the celebrities get one final chance to perfect their skills, proving to expert trainers that they’re ready for a close encounter with one of the ocean’s most misunderstood apex predators. For some, it’s a dream fulfilled; for others, it’s the culmination of a journey that began with deep-seated fear.
As the moment arrives, the stakes are more than personal. Each diver must confront a vital question: will this be a life-changing encounter that reshapes their views, revealing sharks as vital to the ocean’s health, or will lingering fears continue to paint them as monsters?
The celebrity lineup includes Sir Lenny Henry, Helen George, Ross Noble, Lucy Punch and Rachel Riley.
Guided by a team of world-class marine experts, these familiar faces have swapped red carpets and studio lights for fins, masks, and open ocean.
“The team at Plimsoll is uniquely positioned to pioneer this format that blends conservation with wildly entertaining pop culture,” says Karen Plumb, Head of Factual Entertainment at Plimsoll Productions.
“We’re constantly looking for innovative approaches to wildlife storytelling and are certain that our fish-out-of-water spin – delivering 50 years after Jaws – will transform the world’s perception of these critical predators before it’s too late.”
This final episode promises not only breathtaking underwater footage but also moments of vulnerability, triumph, and transformation. Viewers can expect to witness raw reactions as the celebrities come face to face with nature in its purest form—far removed from Hollywood portrayals.
For those who miss the broadcast, the entire series is available to stream now on ITVX.
