Review: Radisson Collection Hotel, Tallinn: An exceptional in the heart of Estonia’s capital ★★★★★
Our recent stay at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Tallinn, Estonia, was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of the city, just a five-minute walk from iconic Freedom Square, the bustling Rotermann quarter, and a prime shopping centre, this hotel perfectly blends luxury with convenience.
Spacious and Stylish Family Suite
We stayed in a Family Suite, and it was impressively spacious. The suite featured a separate room for the adults, giving us the privacy and comfort we needed. Both rooms came equipped with Smart TVs, ideal for winding down after a day of sightseeing.
The suite offered tea and coffee making facilities, a generous bathroom complete with both a bath and a shower, and plenty of storage space to unpack and settle in comfortably. The views from the suite were stunning, offering a charming glimpse over Tallinn’s cityscape.
It couldn’t have been more spacious and clean. We loved it!
Exceptional Service Throughout
From arrival to departure, the hotel’s service was exceptional. The reception staff welcomed us warmly and were incredibly helpful with all our queries. We especially appreciated their willingness to hold our luggage before and after check-in, which made exploring the city hassle-free. The restaurant staff were equally attentive, delivering flawless service with a genuine smile. Immaculate surroundings throughout the hotel added to the sense of quality and care, with the foyet in particular feeling welcoming and plush.
Sensational Spa Experience
One of the highlights for our family was the hotel’s spa. Immaculate and modern, it boasts a fantastic pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and a relaxing lounge area. Our kids absolutely adored spending time here, and it was a joy to experience the facilities without any overcrowding. The changing rooms were thoughtfully designed with exceptional cleanliness and comfort, making the whole experience seamless.
The spa is included in the price of staying at the hotel, which gain highlights the exceptional value for money. If we had more time, we would’ve spent hours making use of it!
Sky Bar with Stunning Views and Vibes
The Radisson Collection’s sky bar is a true gem, and it’s one of our favourite parts of the hotel. Offering panoramic views of Tallinn, including the port, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The staff here continued the hotel’s trend of outstanding hospitality. The bar menu featured a vast selection of drinks and bar snacks, with an energy and vibe reminiscent of Ibiza’s best venues. The music set the mood perfectly, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave.
Breakfast fit for a Five-Star Hotel
Breakfast at the Radisson Collection is truly a culinary delight. Every element of the buffet exemplified the hotel’s five-star rating. Fresh dishes like omelettes, poached eggs, and avocado on toast were cooked to order.
The variety was extensive: pastries, bacon, sausages, potatoes, eggs, yoghurts, fruit, cereals, breads, hams, cheeses — everything you could possibly desire. Fresh smoothies, excellent coffee selections, and booster shots freshly prepared at your table rounded out a perfect start to the day.
We never felt rushed, the food was fresh and constantly topped up. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in recent years, it again presented incredible value for money.
Prime Location
Situated in a vibrant yet convenient part of Tallinn, the hotel is ideally placed for both sightseeing and shopping. Freedom Square, the Rotermanni area, and a major shopping centre are all just a short, leisurely walk away.
You can be in the old town in just 10 - 15 minutes, and the airport is also about 10 - 15 minutes away by Uber or Bolt, meaning it is perfectly located for your stay.
