Watch the first official teaser trailer for new thriller The Iris Affair.
Sky has unveiled a first-look teaser for The Iris Affair, a stylish and suspenseful thriller that follows a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse across Italy between two brilliant adversaries.
The story begins when enigmatic prodigy Iris Nixon (Algar) solves a series of intricate online puzzles, leading her to a piazza in Florence. There, she encounters the charismatic entrepreneur Cameron Beck (Hollander), who invites her to help unlock a powerful and highly classified piece of technology. Intrigued, Iris accepts—but soon realizes the device’s dangerous potential. In a daring move, she absconds with the journal containing its activation sequence, disappearing without a trace.
What ensues is an intense pursuit, spanning from a secluded cabin in Sardinia to the bustling streets of Rome, as Cameron races to track Iris in a deadly game where trust is scarce and failure carries catastrophic consequences.
The series stars Niamh Algar (Mary & George, The Virtues) and Tom Hollander (The White Lotus, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans). Created, written, and showrun by Neil Cross (Luther), the show is directed by Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and Sarah O’Gorman (A Gentleman in Moscow, The Witcher).
Supporting cast members include Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones, Force Majeure), Harry Lloyd (Arcane, Marcella), Meréana Tomlinson (The Trials), Sacha Dhawan (The Great, Doctor Who), Maya Sansa (Good Morning, Night, Dormant Beauty), Peter Sullivan (Poldark, The Borgias), Debi Mazar (Younger, Entourage), Marco Leonardi (Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Anime Nere), Angela Bruce (Silver Haze, Doctor Who), and Lorenzo De Moor (A Simple Favor 2, Dolce Fine Giornata).
The Iris Affair is set to premiere this autumn on Sky and streaming service NOW.
