Joel Dommett Returns: The fan-favourite presenter is back on hosting duties to oversee the chaos as both teams attempt to unmask a fresh cast of characters.

Alan Carr Leads ‘Wild Cards’ Team in Huge Masked Singer UK Format Refresh
ITV’s flagship guessing game is getting a dramatic overhaul, and comedian Alan Carr is right at the centre of the action.
Rather than simply taking a seat alongside the usual panel of celebrity sleuths, Carr will captain his very own rival squad known as The Wild Cards. Armed with his trademark infectious laugh and quick-fire banter, Carr’s team will actively compete against the veteran panel—now officially dubbed The Legends (Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Maya Jama, and Jonathan Ross).
Throughout the upcoming series, both panels will compete to out-smart one another, racing to unmask the bold new roster of secretive performers and claim the title of ultimate detective team for 2027.
Host Joel Dommett will return to keep order in the studio as the two teams clash over every cryptic clue and dramatic reveal.
Reacting to the news, Carr couldn’t contain his excitement:
“I can’t wait to play detective—so excited to be shouting ‘take it off’ in the actual studio rather than on my settee at home. A dream come true.”

The new series of The Masked Singer UK is set to air on ITV1 and stream on ITVX later this year.
