Mariah Carey addresses defrosting Christmas: Watch the full interview
Pop icon Mariah Carey opened up about early mornings, her upcoming Sandringham Estate concert, and defrosting Christmas during a lively chat with Fleur East and Will Best on Hits Radio today
Mariah Carey stopped by the Hits Radio Breakfast Show studio this morning for a fun conversation with hosts Fleur East and Will Best — though she admitted early mornings aren’t her forte! When asked if she’s a morning person, Mariah laughed, “Absolutely not — my morning routine is to stay in bed and go back to sleep!”
The superstar was there to discuss her new music and her highly anticipated upcoming performance at Sandringham Estate, the country residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla. When Fleur asked whether any members of the Royal Family might attend, Mariah shared, “Of course the Royal Family are invited, but I don’t think any of them are coming to the gig. I met Fergie at a party once and I thought she was cool, very nice…”
Mariah also revealed her plans to embrace British culture while in the UK, sharing, “I’m about to go shopping at Harrods, my stylist is over there figuring it out as we speak…”
Despite her superstar status, Mariah confirmed she faces everyday challenges too, telling Fleur and Will, “My kids are home-schooled and I need to call the teacher! She hit me up yesterday to tell me about the kids and making sure that they do their work…”
Of course, the hosts couldn’t resist asking the Queen of Christmas about her favorite time of year and the viral social media trend joking about Mariah defrosting… Watch the full interview here:
