Last One Laughing UK season 2 announces HUGE cast

Diane Morgan, Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Mel Giedroyc and David Mitchell join season 2 of Last One Laughing UK.

Prime Video has announced the line-up for the second series of its hit UK Original comedy competition Last One Laughing, set to return in 2026.

This time, ten comedians will battle it out to keep a straight face, including David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Sam Campbell—and Series 1 champion Bob Mortimer, back to defend his title.

Jimmy Carr returns as host, joined once again by deputy Roisin Conaty. The format remains simple but brutal: laugh, and you’re out. Over the course of the series, players will use every trick in the book to crack their rivals, with surprise cameos, format twists, and plenty of chaos along the way.

Series 1 featured Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley, and Richard Ayoade, and earned rave reviews when it premiered last year, with Mortimer crowned the first UK winner.

Last One Laughing originated in Japan as Documental, created by Hitoshi Matsumoto, and has since become a global Prime Video phenomenon with hit versions in more than 20 territories, hosted by stars such as Graham Norton (Ireland), Rebel Wilson (Australia), Trevor Noah (South Africa), and Fedez (Italy).

The UK series is produced by Banijay UK labels Zeppotron and Initial and will stream on Prime Video in early 2026.
