Spanning eight episodes, King & Conqueror tells the story of a clash that shaped the destiny of a nation—and a continent—for the next thousand years. The drama traces the tangled roots of the conflict through two powerful and interconnected dynasties, battling for dominance across England, Normandy, and the seas between them.
At its core are Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy—two men who began as allies with no ambitions for the English crown, only to be driven by circumstance, shifting loyalties, and personal obsession into a war that culminated in the legendary Battle of Hastings in 1066.
