ITV unveils star-studded Autumn and Winter 2025 lineup
ITV has revealed this year's Autumn and Winter tv highlights.
ITV has lifted the curtain on its packed Autumn and Winter 2025 schedule, revealing an impressive slate of gripping dramas, must-watch reality TV, and blockbuster sport that promises to keep audiences hooked through the colder months.
Among the standout new dramas is Coldwater, a psychological thriller set in a fictional Scottish village, starring The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln. He plays John, a frustrated stay-at-home dad confronting the crushing weight of middle age. When his long-repressed anger explodes with devastating consequences, he finds himself unexpectedly tethered to a new friend—one with dark secrets of his own.
Also drawing attention is I Fought The Law, a powerful retelling of the real-life battle waged by Ann Ming, played by Sheridan Smith. After her daughter’s killer was acquitted under the then-existing Double Jeopardy Law, Ming launched a tireless campaign to see justice served—ultimately changing the law in the process.
Vicky McClure returns to explosive form in the third season of Trigger Point, reprising her role as bomb disposal expert Lana Washington. A new terror threat, targeting individuals with personal vendettas, sends her team racing against time alongside the Counterterrorism Unit.
New heist thriller Frauds pairs Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker as former partners-in-crime forced back together after a decade apart. Set in sun-drenched Southern Spain, the series promises deception, high-stakes drama, and unresolved tension as their past comes crashing into the present.
In The Hack, a major new seven-part drama, David Tennant, Robert Carlyle, and Toby Jones lead a compelling look at the phone hacking scandal that rocked Britain. Written by Jack Thorne, the series charts the efforts of journalist Nick Davies and the parallel investigation into the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, revealing the murky intersections of media, politics, and crime.
Reality and Entertainment Highlights
The nation's favourite double act, Ant & Dec, return to the jungle for a new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, while AJ Odudu and Will Best return to host another round of Big Brother, guiding a fresh group of housemates through the drama.
Olivia Attwood’s hit series Bad Boyfriends is back for a second season after pulling in over 12 million streams. Meanwhile, Stephen Mulhern joins Ant & Dec in The Accidental Tourist (working title), a light-hearted travel challenge show that throws Stephen out of his comfort zone. He also fronts a revival of the classic series You Bet!—now on tour with even bigger and bolder challenges.
Brand-new quiz format Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery promises to be the most interactive gameshow ever seen on UK screens. Contestants and viewers alike will play for life-changing prizes—including a £1 million jackpot.
Joel Dommett, Judi Love, Sam Thompson and GK Barry lead a cheeky new reality game show involving secret stunts, daring sabotage, and a hidden cash prize, while The Great Escapers sends some of ITV’s most recognisable stars on their first group holiday together. What could possibly go wrong?

ITV is also boosting its streaming offering with an array of new boxsets. New arrivals include Universal Basic Guys, DC’s Stargirl, Batwoman, Marvel’s Runaways, Jonestown: Terror In The Jungle, Firebite, One Night, Borderline, The Red Road and Small Achievable Goals, offering everything from superhero sagas to gritty true crime.
Sport Returns
On the sporting front, ITV remains the free-to-air home of football. The Carabao Cup and English Football League will continue to air key fixtures on ITV, and fans can follow the England Men’s European Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup across ITV platforms. Meanwhile, following their UEFA Women’s Euros triumph, the England Lionesses will also remain in the ITV spotlight.
With a mix of high-impact drama, headline-grabbing reality formats and live sport, ITV’s Autumn and Winter 2025 schedule looks set to be one of its strongest yet.
