The latest adventure from Aardman Animations, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, is set to delight audiences once again as it arrives on UK screens this Easter.
For viewers wondering where to watch Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, the hit film will be broadcast on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer on Easter Monday, April 6 at 6.30pm.
A record-breaking return for Wallace & Gromit
When Vengeance Most Fowl first premiered on BBC One on Christmas Day 2025, it quickly became one of the biggest TV events of the festive season. The long-awaited return of the beloved duo drew millions of viewers, dominating ratings and reaffirming the enduring popularity of Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit.
The film’s success didn’t stop there. Following its UK debut, it went on to reach a global audience via Netflix, where it performed strongly in multiple territories and introduced a new generation to Aardman’s iconic characters.
What is Vengeance Most Fowl about?
In this brand-new story, Gromit begins to worry that Wallace’s reliance on his increasingly elaborate inventions is getting out of hand.
Those fears soon become reality when Wallace creates a “smart” garden gnome that appears to develop a mind of its own. As events spiral out of control, it becomes clear that a mysterious and vengeful figure from the past may be pulling the strings.
With danger closing in, it’s up to Gromit to take charge, battle sinister forces and save his master—before Wallace loses his ability to invent forever.
Voice cast and returning favourites
Leading the cast is Ben Whitehead as Wallace, the eccentric, cheese-loving inventor, alongside his silent but ever-resourceful companion Gromit.
Fan favourite Peter Kay also returns as Chief Inspector Mackintosh, bringing plenty of humour to the role.
They’re joined by an impressive lineup of new voices, including:
Lauren Patel
Reece Shearsmith
Diane Morgan
Adjoa Andoh
Lenny Henry
The creative team behind the film
The film is directed by Nick Park, the creator of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, alongside Merlin Crossingham.
The story comes from Nick Park and Mark Burton, with Burton also writing the screenplay. Production is handled by Richard Beek, continuing Aardman’s tradition of high-quality stop-motion storytelling.
Speaking about the origins of the film, Nick Park said:
“I’d had the idea of a film about garden gnomes turning bad for more than a decade, but I could never work out what made them bad...”

Its earlier success on BBC One and Netflix proves just how beloved Wallace and Gromit remain, and this latest outing delivers everything fans expect—plus a fresh twist with its mischievous gnome storyline.
