HBO has announced a new behind-the-scenes special exploring the making of its upcoming adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Titled Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic, the program will premiere in the UK on Sunday, April 5 at 8:00 p.m., with simultaneous availability on HBO Max in the United States earlier that day. The special will also air on HBO in the U.S. at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, alongside select international broadcasts.
Marking 25 years since audiences were first introduced to the world of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the special offers a detailed look at the scale and craftsmanship behind the network’s new series. Through interviews with creative teams across casting, production design, costume, and creature effects, viewers are taken inside the complex process of reimagining Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermione for a new generation.
