Discover 'First Year at Hogwarts' at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
First Year at Hogwarts is coming to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London this Spring.
You won’t need a Time-Turner to step back to where the magic first began. This summer, mark 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with an all-new feature at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — First Year at Hogwarts — running from 7th May to 7th September 2026.
Discover original props, including the Golden Snitch, and explore authentic sets such as the Hogwarts Express as you journey through the Studio Tour and revisit unforgettable moments from the very first film. The experience begins the moment you enter the Great Hall, where Gryffindor house banners hang proudly and a swirl of floating hats fills the ceiling above the long tables — recreating the triumphant House Cup celebration at the end-of-term feast.
Midway through the tour, head to the Backlot Stage for a brand-new live show, Secrets of Sound Effects. This immersive audiovisual experience delves into the art of Foley, revealing how sound design helped bring the wizarding world to life on screen.
At the demonstration stage, uncover how iconic flying lessons and Quidditch matches were filmed. See the original Quidditch polearm rig up close and learn about the groundbreaking techniques that set the standard for flight scenes throughout the series.
Relive the challenges faced by Harry, Ron and Hermione as the Studio Tour showcases the restored paw mould of Hagrid’s three-headed dog, Fluffy — brought back to life by members of the original Creature Effects Team. Displayed alongside the original self-playing harp used to send Fluffy to sleep, it’s a rare chance to see movie magic up close.
Fancy a game of Wizard Chess? A brand-new photo opportunity recreates one of the film’s most iconic scenes, complete with moving chess pieces and the original Knight that Ron sacrifices himself on.
You can also enjoy an expanded Activity Passport, featuring a checklist of essential supplies to spot in Diagon Alley. Keep an eye out for interactive displays hidden within the enchanting shop windows as you tick off each item.
